In the run up to the 2022 Scottish Local Government elections the Scottish Women's Budget Group are holding a number of focused events to views from women across Scotland on public spending priorities. The third in this series of events will focus on what women's priorities in relation to childcare and how local government can help achieve these.

Participants will hear from Ruth Boyle from Close the Gap on childcare policy and the impacts on women's labour market inequality and Marion Davies from One Parent Families Scotland will highlight the childcare challenges from a single parent's perspective. Then there will be the opportunity to share their thoughts on what local governments priorities should be.
