Local Government and the Impact of Covid-19 on Women

February 11, 2022, 10.30 – 12.00
Online
In the run up to the 2022 Scottish Local Government elections the Scottish Women's Budget Group are holding a number of focused events to views from women across Scotland on public spending priorities. The second in this series of events will focus on what women think is important to ensure we address inequality as part of the plans to recover from the pandemic.
Participants will hear from Alys Mumford from Engender and Emma Congreve from the Fraser of Allander Institute, with further speakers are to be confirmed, then there will be the opportunity to share their thoughts on what local governments priorities should be.
Covid-19 has affected everyone in a variety of ways. This event offers the opportunity to together discuss some of the priorities for recovery and how local government budgets can support this.
